Mr. Veitch was chosen for Who's Who in Texas in 1984 and 1985, along with being named to Who's Who in San Antonio in 1985.  He was also elected to Who's Who in American Law in 1985 and to Who's Who in American Insurance.  Mr. Veitch was elected Gander of the Year in the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose in 1974 and to Personalities of America 6th Edition in 1992. He was the recipient of the CPCU Society Standard Setter Award in 1997.  Mr. Veitch was elected to Thomson Reuter's Texas Super Lawyers in Insurance Law from 2006 to 2012, Best Lawyers in San Antonio by Scene in SA magazine in Trusts & Estates in 2006 and 2007 and Insurance Coverage in 2008 to 2012, and Woodward/White's Best Lawyers in America in Insurance Coverage in 2008 through 2012.
