Clinton Butler is a newly elected Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America

Clinton Butler, a Shareholder at Langley & Banack, has been recently honored as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). This prestigious recognition is a testament to his exemplary contributions in the legal field. The Litigation Counsel of America is an exclusive trial lawyer honorary society established to mirror the evolving landscape of the American legal profession.

Membership in the LCA is a highly coveted distinction, limited to a select group of 3,500 Fellows, constituting less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.

Butler chairs Langley & Banack’s Energy Practice Group, a team of highly experienced attorneys, engaged in both transactional and litigation work in the area of oil, gas, and other forms of energy. Butler also serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Royalty Owners—Texas Chapter, a national organization that provides education, legal advocacy, and public policy solutions on behalf of oil and gas royalty owners. Butler is a 2004 graduate of Baylor University Law School, and is a native of San Antonio, where his father, Richard Butler and grandfather, Judge Ted Butler, practiced law before him.

“I am humbled by the honor of being included in such a prestigious organization and to have my name placed among the attorneys who populate this organization. I want to make it clear that I consider this to be a team award.  I am very fortunate to work with some great attorneys and the best staff in the world. Without them, this generous recognition would have never been possible,” said Butler.

Clinton Butler’s inclusion as a Fellow underscores his outstanding achievements and standing as a legal professional of the highest caliber. The Litigation Counsel of America acknowledges and celebrates his dedication to the legal profession and commitment to excellence.
