Buddy Banack celebrates 50 years
Shareholder Emerson “Buddy” Banack, Jr. celebrated his 50 year anniversary practicing law on Wednesday, May 6th at the Plaza Club. His family and colleagues, including Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ronald B. King, who is a former Langley & Banack attorney, and Dr. William L. Heinrich, President of the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, gave speeches honoring Buddy and his contributions to the legal field and the San Antonio community. Bob Werner Elected Mayor of Shavano Park
Tax and Employee Benefits Shareholder Bob Werner was elected Mayor of the City of Shavano Park this month. Mr. Werner has been an active member of the City of Shavano Park government having served as a Councilman and on the Planning & Zoning Committee, where he has served as Chairman since 2006. Mr. Werner replaces Mayor Pro Tem Michele Bunting Ross.

Former Chief Justice Stone inducted into San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame
Shareholder and appellate practice group leader, Catherine M. Stone, was inducted into the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame on Saturday, March 21, 2015. The purpose of the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame is to provide scholarships for local women looking to pursue higher education.
